You know that in school or work there’s always people who are “loners”, different, new and just people without company. So make them feel loved! Make them feel that someone does care about them. Even just a “hello”, a smile, a “how are you?” will do. When you have to pick teams, groups or partners for something. Pick the ones that get picked last. You never know waht can happen. Maybe they’ll turn out to be an amazing person or even a good friend. Not only will you feel good about doing something nice, but that person will also benefit something. If you were in there shoes, don’t you think that you’ll be grateful if someone did that for you? Maybe you’ll even be a hero or a life saver because that person may have been suicidal.
Even though the media and the press will stop doing coverages on Haiti after a couple of weeks, we should still continue our prayers and donations. Though the media will stop talking about it, we shouldn’t stop. People there are still gonna suffer and undergo tough times after the media does it part. We should keep this in mind.
After this whole Haiti thing, my dad brought up a special point. We put our attention when these kind of things happen, but what about the people that are going through addictions and corrupted mentality, spirituality, and emotions? Shouldn’t we care about them too? They’re just as wounded as the people that just undergone a hurricane, earthquake or flood. Let’s also pray and figure out a way to help these people out of the darkness.
